What should we wear?

For every session, I send an outfit guide when you book with me. Some key points to keep in mind: dress comfortably and consider the location. Are we in the woods? If so, bring comfortable shoes and extra socks. Did it rain the day before? Bring extra shoes and socks, or rain boots. Is it cold outside? You can wear short sleeves, but consider bringing a jacket or coat.

Another important note is color. Please avoid wearing bright or neon colors. My editing style leans toward darker tones, so I recommend wearing more neutral colors like white, black, beige, dark greens, etc. Avoid clothes with large logos or graphics, as these can be distracting in the photos. For inspiration, feel free to check out my Instagram!

What happens if it rains the day of our session?

Weather can be unpredictable, but we can always reschedule if needed. There are also indoor locations we can use in case of rain. I monitor the weather closely and will reschedule your session if the forecast looks rainy. Some couples even love the idea of a "rainy day" photoshoot, so if that’s your vibe, I’m all for it!

How long does it take to get our photos back?

Every photographer has a different turnaround time, but I strive to deliver galleries in 2-4 weeks. With every session you will receive sneak peeks and these are usually sent 24-48 hours after the session. I work full-time at a photography studio in addition to my own sessions, so while I balance my work, I take the time needed to perfect your images. I’m very detail-oriented and won’t send out photos until they meet my high standards. Throughout the process, I’ll keep you updated on when to expect your gallery.

Can you edit your images in a different style?

Short answer: No. Can I make them super bright and colorful? Or like someone else’s work? My editing style is what makes my photos unique, and you're hiring me because you like my art! While I’m happy to collaborate with you on poses or locations, I cannot change my editing style. If you’re looking for a different editing approach, I suggest finding a photographer whose style aligns with your vision.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes! If the investment is a challenge, please talk to me. I’m always willing to help those who can’t otherwise afford it. Growing up, my family couldn’t afford photos, and I never even had a senior photoshoot. If you find yourself in a similar situation, let me know, and I’ll see how I can assist because everyone deserves to have their moment. However, I ask that you respect the business side of things—I'm here to help but still need to maintain a sustainable business.

How should I prepare for a photoshoot?

Take a deep breath! There’s no need to feel anxious or nervous—I’ll be guiding you every step of the way. Be sure to choose your outfits in advance and allow yourself enough time to prepare. For families, make sure the kids are fed and bring snacks—this can make a huge difference in their mood during the session. And of course, make sure everyone is well-rested.

Do we have to pay extra to download photos in the gallery?

Nope! You will be sent the entire gallery with unlimited downloads.
